The best game we have had. We ordered drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, espresso and 1 dessert. The Clear as Day gin cocktail was excellent, made with Antler House gin. The BC Salmon Crudo and the Roasted Hen of the Woods salad were refreshing and delicious. The Bison Ribeye and Venison Rack were cooked to perfection. Finally the Sticky Toffee Pudding was decadent but not too sweet.

Perfect texture on squid Yakitori, and we loved how the Soy didn't consume it. Carpaccio came out in a glass cover - the smokiness was preserved beautifully, and it provided a fun photo opportunity! Foie-Gras... immaculate. Best thing we've ever had possibly hahaha. My jaw dropped when I tasted the pheasant/rabbit pie. Shoutout duck fat crust!! The Watercress was so well-sourced that it appeared as if the stems were painted on in a brighter hue. Quail had a lovely balance of sweet and tender to gamey, on the most delicate bed of lentils and celery root purée. I did not know lentils could be that good. Thanks Antler

An unforgettable birthday dinner for my husband. The 7-course chef’s menu was outstanding — creative, delicious, and beautifully executed. The chef was genuinely warm and attentive, and the staff made us feel so well cared for. Highly recommend for a special night out.

When my coworkers said they wanted "Canadian food," Antler kept showing as a top choice... and it delivered! This cozy spot leans hard into game meats, with elk, venison, boar, and buffalo all making appearances across the menu. If that sounds intense, don't worry, the dishes are rustic in spirit but executed with care. Quality ingredients, clever pairings and confident cooking all around. I started with the maple-glazed boar belly, which hit the sweet spot (literally and figuratively). Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and just the right amount of maple. But the real standout was dessert: the spruce strawberry shortcake. Bright, earthy, creamy, and crumbly all at once -- easily one of the most memorable dishes of the night. Service was warm and attentive. Our server kept things moving without rushing us, and the water glasses were always full. The dining room has a moody, industrial-rustic vibe that complements the wild game focus. If you're looking for a spot that feels distinctly Canadian without being gimmicky, Antler is a strong (and delicious) contender.

Came here for a culinary experience, and we definitely received it! We came for the chefs tasting and were given 7 unique courses that brought me out of my comfort zone. The chef was very friendly and fun to talk to when exploring the dishes he created. The unique ingredients and plating added to it all. I’d highly recommend to come at least once and try it! They have a very wide range of food from basic to extravagant wild meats. I love that this is a seasonal place and it changes with what ingredients are available! My favourite was the sticky toffee pudding - but I’m a dessert person! The bison was also a close favourite

I’ve always wanted to try out this restaurant, since I wanted to experience game meat cuisine. This restaurant is also part of the Michelin Guide, and it was on the news a while ago for a vegan protest where the owner cuts animal leg in front of vegans. The dishes were innovative and interesting with well thought out with ingredients to hide the gaminess of the meat. This isn’t like anything I experienced before. Would I prefer this over just regular pork, beef and chicken? No. However, my dining adventures wouldn’t be complete without this experience, and I would still recommend this place to adventurous diners. “Chef Michael Hunter’s Antler Kitchen & Bar is a showcase for wild Canadiana. Its walls are decorated with mounted deer antlers and photographs of maple trees tapped with syrup and morels ripe for plucking.” “Antler on Dundas West is a celebration of regional ingredients. [The restaurant’s] aim is to define Canadian cuisine highlighting local seasonal and wild foods.”

We had a lovely evening celebrating our 15th anniversary! Food was top quality, and very obviously prepared with care. Flavour combinations were unique but still showcased the high quality proteins. Service was casual, but very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the boar belly main, and charcuterie platter - they were incredible!

Food was amazing, servers were attentive but not overbearing. Slightly small venue but given its location I'm not super surprised.

Finally got a chance to dine at Antler with their Chef's Table Tasting Menu. Came with high expectations and what we got exceeded it. Each of their dishes were spot on, but the highlights for us were the Venison Tartare topped with an awesome fried shiitake, their smoked boar belly and the bison steak with a duck fat potato rosti. Value for the price, we would happily come back for it again.
